Our Story

It started with a match.

May 2020. Brooklyn had gone quiet — no subways, no rooftop bars, no chance encounters. Somewhere in that stillness, Wes and Nihar found each other on Hinge.

For two months, they talked. Really talked. By the time they met in person on July 11, 2020, it didn't feel like a first date. It felt like a reunion.

Four years later, Wes brought Nihar to Garden of the Gods in Colorado and asked her to spend forever with him. She said yes.

Now they're bringing everyone they love to Tulum. See you there.

The heart has its own language.

The heart knows a hundred thousand ways to speak.

Still have questions?

We know destination weddings come with a lot of logistics. If something isn't covered here, reach out directly — we're happy to help make this as easy as possible for you.

Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?

Yes. All international travelers need a valid passport. Make sure yours doesn't expire within 6 months of your travel date.

Which airport should I fly into?

Fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN). It's about 1.5–2 hours from Tulum by shuttle or rental car. We recommend booking a shared shuttle in advance — ADO bus is a budget-friendly option, or private transfers are available.

Where should I stay?

We've arranged room blocks at a few hotels near the venue. We have options across two tiers — comfortable & polished, and beachside & laid-back — to suit different preferences and budgets. Details and booking links coming soon.

What's the weather like in late September?

Tulum in late September is warm and tropical — expect highs around 88°F / 31°C. It's the tail end of rainy season so there may be brief afternoon showers, but it's generally sunny. Pack light, breathable clothes and bring sunscreen.

Is Tulum safe?

Yes — the hotel zone where we're staying is well-traveled and safe. Use standard travel common sense: don't leave valuables on the beach, use reputable transport, and you'll be fine.

Will there be transportation between the hotel and venue?

Yes, we'll arrange shuttles between the main hotel blocks and Hacienda Medina for all events. More details to come closer to the date.

What should I wear?

Think elevated beach chic. The ceremony and reception are outdoors on the beach — breathable fabrics, maxi dresses, linen suits. Heels will sink in the sand, so flat sandals are your friend.
