Which airport should I fly into?
You should fly into Jodhpur, JDH. There are no direct flights from the states. And because it is such a far flight we suggest people get a layover in dubai or another country for a day to help break up the flight.
Where should I stay? Are hotel rooms blocked for guests?
We have booked out rooms at the Daspan House https://www.daspanhouse.com/ and will be also booking rooms at the Radisson Hotel Jodhpur. How far is the airport from the hotel or venue?
We will have a few cars to pick people up at the airport and bring them to their hotels once they arrive. And if you want to explore the city via car while you're here we will provide a taxi service to help cofure people around.
What will the weather be like?
For the most part at the end of Sept it will be in the tempetures of 96° / 77° F. Rainfall: September is the end of the monsoon season, so rainfall decreases significantly. There's still a chance of occasional rain, though the weather becomes drier towards the month's end. Humidity and Wind: The climate is still humid, but the wind provides a breezy feel. Daylight: You can expect about 12 hours of daylight each day.
